PARENT CONNECT
Please note that Parent Connect will only allow a parent or guardian access after they fill out the online application and later stop by the school's guidance department with photo ID and obtain their username and password (as stated during signup). This is done to insure the children's safety and that access is only by proper parents/guardians.
Also note that Parent Connect works ONLY with grades 7-12 (and minimally with 5 & 6), due to fact the grades are not currently kept electronically at the elementary schools.
Please also be aware that high security settings in your web browser or internet security software may stop you from viewing the Parent Connect portion of our website (because you are temporarily joining our network). If so, you may need to add the URL http://pcxp.hudsoncsd.k12.ny.us your list of trusted sites in your browser or security software. Another option is to adjust your security settings to a lower level. It is NOT something we can do on our end.
Lastly, please be aware that you may see an absent mark on your child’s record for day or class period that he or she is on a legitimate activity (field trip, school event, etc). Please do not be alarmed, as the teachers taking attendance are required to mark the students that are not there as being absent. In these cases, it does not necessarily mean your child was missing class inappropriately. We will check into this and see if it can be adjusted accordingly.
