Award Winning Author Todd Strasser Visits HJHS

On Friday April 30, Todd Strasser, award winning author of more than 135 books for children of all ages, visited students at the junior high school to talk about the writing process and the life of a published writer. Mr. Strasser’s motivational speech stressed the importance of hard work and dedication.

Mr. Strasser also attended a luncheon and discussion session with students in the after school Book Club that recently read his novel, Wish You Were Dead. The group’s discussion focused on the books they have read, what they liked about them and why they like to read. Thank you Ms. Keeler for arranging this luncheon for the group!
