HCSD has invested in tablets and Chromebooks for all of our students (Grades K–12) to use as learning tools during the school year.

Students wear orange for Unity Day, a national anti-bullying event in October.

On Fridays, the Life Skills class runs the "Egg Shack" and cooks made-to-order breakfast sandwiches for staff.

Students applied STEM concepts when they built working pencil catapults.

Students participate in "The Power of Peace," a grant-funded program that promotes tolerance, acceptance, and positive school climate and culture.

A solar array was built behind Hudson Jr./Sr. High School in partnership with the state-sponsored K-Solar Program and NY Power Authority.

Hudson Junior High students will take ownership of their actions and education to realize their potential and prepare themselves for a successful transition to high school. Hudson Junior High students will be independent and creative thinkers as they develop into well-rounded members of society. This will be accomplished by providing a climate which strives to meet individual needs while promoting high expectations.
