Read Across America at JLE
Hundreds of children came to JLE on Wednesday, March 2nd, wearing their PJs, accompanied by their favorite stuffed animal pals preparing for a wonderful day of being read to by their teachers, and also local leaders and community volunteers. This years theme was Dr. Seuss, so all the children were delighted when the Cat In The Hat made an appearance. On behalf of the JLE Teachers, Staff and PTA, Mr. Spicer would like to thank all of our community volunteers for the dozens of books read to hundreds of children and Mrs. Kipp who led our school in this effort. On this day we all showed our children how much Hudson values reading.
