Bartollotta attends National Young Leaders State Conference
Sarah Bartollotta, daughter of Joanne and Alfred Bartolotta and a freshman at Hudson Senior High School (HSHS) recently attended the National Young Leaders State Conference (NYLC) in Albany.
Sarah was nominated last fall by her teachers Sharon McEnroe and Bruce Buhler to attend as she demonstrates the characteristics of leadership and academics desired for the program.
NYLC provides the scholars with educational experience through an enriching curriculum designed to maximize the student’s potential for academic and personal achievement. Scholars discover how to enhance leadership skills they already possess and, more importantly, learn how to apply those skills in the future.
Sarah said she enjoyed the conference because it was well organized, she met a lot of new people and was able to immediately use the information and skills in her school life at HSHS.
Congratulations Hudson High School students Sarah Nolan and Maria Nero!

This is an annual event conducted by Mrs. Meghan Abitabile in the Psychology and Sociology classes.
Graduates shared their campus life experiences, professor’s expectations, size and structure of classes, class schedules, workload of classes, advantages to commuting and what it is like to go through the transfer process. The college students talked about what they would do differently and how important their senior year at Hudson High School is to a successful future.
