Earl Trethway, director of financial aid at Columbia-Greene Community College, will be on hand to help students understand the ins and outs of financing their college education at Hudson High School's Financial Aid Workshop, 6:30 pm, Monday, Dec. 7.

Dorothea Deitz Memorial Scholarship – awarded to a female student planning to major in Physical Education – See the Guidance Office ASAP to get information needed to apply

The New York Water Environment Association is offering scholarships  -  applicant must be a child of an NYWEA member or enrolling in an environmentally related program in a 4 year college.  Applications are available in the Guidance Office.  Deadline to apply is January 21, 2010

Giddings Foundation Scholarship – applicant must have a Grade Point Average of 85 or better along with experience in leadership and community service.  Applications are available in the Guidance Office or online at www.giddingsfoundation.org.  Deadline to apply is February 11, 2010.

Micah 6:8 Student Award sponsored by the Hudson Interfaith Council.  Applicants must be a member of a local faith community.  The deadline to apply is December 18th, 2009 

 

Seniors Visit Vassar and Union colleges

It's that time of year, when high school seniors are thinking about what comes next year. Recently, before the cold weather started, two groups of seniors paid visits to two of the most respected local colleges, Vassar, in Poughkeepsie, and Union, and Schenectady.
