TFSAP Meetings are open to the public and take place from 6:30 - 8 p.m. in the HHS Library as follows:

2/3: Report Writing meeting 1: Where are We, Curriculum, School Culture, Administrative Practices

2/10: Report Writing meeting 2: Teaching, Districtwide Communication, Other

2/17: Report Writing meeting 3: Review Final Report

State Ed Curriculum Experts to Address Task Force


Erik Sweet and Will Jaacks, Curriculum Associates from the New York State Department of Education, will address members of the Hudson City School District’s Task Force on Student Academic Performance Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Mr. Sweet specializes in English Language Arts Curriculum and Mr. Jaacks in Science. They will discuss learning standards, curriculum, and instruction in their two subjects.  The meeting will begin at 6:30 PM in the Hudson High School library. Members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend. The Task Force on Student Academic Performance was established by the Board of Education in June of 2009 to find ways to advance student academic achievement in the Hudson City School District. The task force is comprised of school staff, parents and community stakeholders. The Board of Education appointed board member Peter Meyer leader, and he has charged the task force with producing a report to the full BOE by January 2010.
