POOL TIMES/SWIMS

Morning Lap Swims

Monday Through Friday: 6 - 7:30 a.m.

Saturday: 7-8:30 a.m.

The morning lap swim is relatively routine with regular patrons. Lane lines are only utilized should they be requested.   This time is for serious people working out or completing therapy.  If a problem arises with someone interfering, please politely speak to those involved.  If the problem can’t be solved, ask the offending party to leave.  Please notify Pool Coordinator of incident.  The diving boards are not used during lap swims.

Evening Swims for Adults Only

Monday & Wednesday: 7-8:30 p.m.

Adults only are allowed during this session. Normally, it’s a majority of lap swimmers but occasionally there are others that choose to relax or use the diving board.   Every effort should be made to accommodate everyone’s interests and desires.  High School students wishing to swim strict laps are allowed if the pool capacity allows it.

Evening and Weekend Swims

Tuesday & Thursday: 7-8:30 p.m.

Saturday: 1:30-3 p.m.

These sessions are our regular open swim sessions. Anyone is allowed to use the pool during these times under certain conditions.  All patrons 12 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.  The adult must remain in the pool area for the entire session with the child swimming.   The pool set up will allow for two lap lanes, shallow area, and one diving board.  The diving board will depend on the crowd size and number of guards on duty.

Monday: 6-7 p.m.

Wednesday: 5-6 p.m.

Friday 5:30-6:30 PM

Regular Water Aerobics

How to Access the Swimming Pool

Those who come to the early morning lap swimming from Monday through Saturday may enter the building from the rear parking lot near the loading dock, on the south side of the junior high school. At other times, access should be available from front or back doors.

Pool Parties

Pool parties are frequently held at the pool. The pool will be set up to adhere to the swimmers attending the party. The diving boards will be at the discretion of the lifeguards with every effort to utilize them for a portion of the party. All other pool rules apply. Also available is a stereo with a CD player and iPod connection.
