Football Scholar Athlete Award
Varsity Football Coach Bo LaCasse and Nick Loucks
Every year, The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame pays tribute to a select few with awards of excellence for exhibiting superior qualities of scholarship, citizenship and leadership. Additionally, the Foundation also recognizes individuals who demonstrate outstanding support for the NFF and its mission of promoting the game of amateur football. The Capital District Chapter has had significant influence in the recognition of the positive aspects of football in the Albany area. Their annual scholar-athlete dinner draws a crowd of 500 to see the best of the best football players from the local schools. Honors also are given to coaches, officials and civic leaders. Hudson High School football player Nick Loucks is this years recipient of this honor.
