Hudson at Burnt Hills Invitational
On Saturday October 16th the Hudson Boys and Girls Cross Country teams traveled to the Burnt Hills Invitational at Saratoga Spa State Park. The Boys team finished 19th out of 27 teams and placed two runners in the top 50 out of a field of 175 runners in the Division II race. The Girls team fielded an incomplete team but placed both runners in the top 60 out of a field of 128 runners. "I am very happy with how our teams did. They were large, fast races that resulted in some personal bests for our runners on that course." Teams traveled across from the state to come to this meet with Bluehawk runners competing against runners from Plattsburgh, Elmira and Northshore on Long Island.

Hudson vs. Chatham Cross Country Results
The Hudson Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams ran their final home race of the season Tuesday at Hudson High School. The Hudson Boys team defeated the Chatham Boys to improve their record to 6-1, while the Chatham girls defeated an incomplete Hudson Girls team. The Hudson Cross Country teams will travel to Saratoga Spa State Park this Saturday for the Burnt Hills Invitational and finish their dual meet races next Tuesday at Maple Hill with the Boys having a chance to finish with dual meet record tied for first overall in the Patroon Conference. Hudson, Hawthorne Valley, Taconic Hills Cross Country Results
The Hudson boys cross country team improved their record to 6-1 by defeating Taconic Hills and previously undefeated Hawthorne Valley to move into a tie for first overall in the Patroon Conference at Hudson High School. "I am extremely proud of the effort our teams made, everyone did what they needed to do to get the win. Hawthorne Valley is a very good team, it was a great race and will make for a very exciting league championships in a few weeks". In the boys race Max Ocean finished first overall, followed by Brendan Connor and in the girls race McKenzie Colwell finished first overall followed by Shannon LaChance.

Hudson at Galway Invitational
The Hudson Boys Cross Country team finished 4th out of 10 teams in the Large School Division at the Galway Invitational at Bob's Trees on Saturday. The team finished just three points shy of 3rd and five points shy of 2nd. "Everyone ran great races from Brendan Connor finishing second overall in our division to Adam Dusenbery improving his time by almost five minutes. Also medaling for the boys team were Patrick LaChance 6th overall and Zach Sohotra 11th overall. Although the girls team fielded an incomplete team, McKenzie Colwell finished 5th overall and Shannon LaChance fought hard for a medal and 20th place in the Girls Varsity Large School Division race out.

The Hudson Boys Cross Country team started the year off with a win on their home course at Hudson High School. Finishing first overall in the boys race was Brendan Connor from Hudson followed by Pat Ostoyich from Greenville in second. Finishing first in the girls race was McKenzie Cowell from Hudson and Shannon LaChance from Hudson narrowed out Sydney Carella from Greenville for second place. "I am very happy with our boys and girls teams effort, Greenville is a good team and we started the season off on the right foot." - Hudson Coach Andrew Ohrin. Hudson's next meet is Tuesday at Olana vs. Catskill.
