FALL SPORTS SECTIONAL ROUND UP

Stephanie Bednar qualified for the varsity golf sectionals held at the Saratoga State Park on October 2nd. Stephanie shot an 84 to advance to the next round and go to the state qualifiers. Playing at Orchard creek, she shot a 90. This concluded a very successful varsity golf career for Stephanie after 5 years as a member.

The Hudson Boys Cross Country team participated in Sectionals on October 31st at SPAC. The team placed 11th out of 15 teams. Top finishers were Brendan Connor with a time of 18:19, Bryce Courbois with a time of 18:36 and our freshman Patrick LaChance was our third boy in with a time of 19:11.

The Girls varsity volleyball team headed to sectionals again this year. The team finished the season with a 9-9 record and headed out west to play Cobleskill-Richmondville in the first round. They were defeated by the Bulldogs in three games 25-12, 25-12, and 25-16. Hudson graduates 5 seniors this year and will be looking forward to next season.

The varsity football team got to the semi finals of Class B football championships this year. They defeated Schalmont in a 13-12 upset and set their sights on Ravena. On October 31st, the Bluehawks traveled to Ravena and ended the season with a loss. The Bluehawks were very proud of their run this year and look forward to next season.

Fall Sports Award Night

Hudson High school held its annual fall sports recognition night on Thursday October 30th. Over 160 athletes from 12 teams were honored by their coaches and families. Students awarded trophies are:

WINTER SPORTS TEAM PRE SEASON MEETINGS

All necessary paperwork will be handed out at these meetings. Students not receiving the paperwork or returning the paper work will NOT be allowed to try out until all forms returned.
